In this live stream event, we will discuss:
NYC UXPA mission and vision
Available volunteer roles
The impact volunteering with NYC UXPA has on the UX community
The goals and values of each NYC UXPA committee
Clear expectations and requirements for volunteers
There are several perks when you sign up to volunteer for NYC UXPA, including:
Networking with other UX and tech professionals

Gaining experience outside of UX, like leading teams or designing graphics for social media
Collaborating with some of the best minds in tech!Who is this for?
UX Beginners who want to learn UX by actually doing it!
UX Designers-in-Training who want to add a new project to their portfolio, and get hands-on experience with accessibility.
UX Pros who want to sharpen their UX design skills or take a break from their daily work.
What you’ll need:
Some UX experience is helpful, but not required. Beginners are welcome!
Laptop or computer with Internet access, preferably in a quiet space.
Pen & Paper for sketching exercises.
Event Policy
Registration closes at 5:55pm EST on Thursday, 9/30 -or- whenever capacity is reached, whichever occurs first.
If you wish to cancel please let us know by emailing rsvp@nycuxpa.org. Refunds will be issued for cancellations received before registration close (5:55pm EST on Thursday, 9/30).
