As a creative leader, I have found the value in digging deep so I am equipped to set a direction and carve a path for my team. I see the same parallels in leading an organization like UXPA NYC as President. I look forward to getting to know the people I will work with to understand current pain points of members and volunteers so we can have a unified vision for the organization.

With experience in team leading and community building, I feel that I am a good fit for the role of Vice President of the NYC UXPA. As the current director of the Events Committee and a lead UX instructor at General Assembly, I am comfortable leading teams and I am actively looking for new ways to grow the UX community. I have a very strong growth mindset, and I look forward to the possible opportunities as Vice President to continue growing as a leader and supportive role in our community.

I believe in the NYC UXPA mission to support people, of all professional experience levels, who research, design, and evaluate the user experience of products and services. I have found the value of the organization in educating, networking, and friendship to be a great benefit and source of growth. Over the past two years as an Events Committee volunteer, I've been privileged to help present a variety of speakers, panels, and lively chats. I'm eager to do more to help the NYC UXPA by becoming Secretary while continuing to volunteer time regularly to the Events Committee.
