Director of Communications

We are now accepting applications for our new Director of Communications position! This is a great opportunity to share your UX research skills, network, and more!

In this volunteer role, you would:

• Monthly gathering of social media analytics and sharing with the team (self or delegate)

• Planning editorial/content calendar (SM and blog); scheduling due dates, delegating tasks

• Serving the design & content needs of the Events team and other teams as needed (self or delegate)

• Utilize, prepare and update training for Comms team members as needed

• Arrange meeting times for team; communicate asynch. via Slack

• Work alongside Director of Events to lead the communications of NYC UXPA content, news, and events

• As a member of the board, attending bi-weekly board meetings (1 hour every two weeks) - (optional, but it helps for staying in the loop of the organization’s plans & you can network & collaborate with other teams more often)
